Q. Coles started behind the bar at the Embassy Suites Hotel over a decade ago. What started as a job became a craft — from hotel bars to nightclubs, from political conventions to private events.
He took that experience and built it into a curriculum. First as a 4-credit college hospitality course. Then as the Bartender's Handbook — a published guide used by training programs. Then as True Mix Masters — a multi-city mobile bartending company serving Eli Lilly, Volvo, and the PGA.
